Directed by Pierre De Parscau, Pacific Mission follows the unprecedented challenge undertaken by the Plastic Odyssey crew in the heart of the Pacific Ocean: removing and recycling over 10 metric tons (22,000 pounds) of plastic waste from Henderson Island—a remote, uninhabited atoll with the highest density of plastic debris in the world. This “impossible mission” reveals what it takes to restore fragile ecosystems and empower the local Pitcairn Island communities to transform waste into building materials.
