The path of a passionate entrepreneur<\/h2>\n

In the early part of his professional life, Fermin Capobianco<\/strong>, an agricultural engineer and forestry manager in the Dominican Republic, worked with wood as a raw material. He makes various objects and structures used mainly for agriculture, such as fences, enclosures and shelters.<\/p>\n

Over the years, however, more and more regulations have been introduced to combat deforestation<\/strong> in the country. As a result, Fermin is forced to reconsider his business, which is becoming increasingly complicated. The country’s environmental situation and his ecological awareness prompted him to explore opportunities in plastic recycling<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”38051″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1701510200638{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}” el_class=”mt2″]In 2008, he decided to travel to Colombia to discover the country’s advances in plastics processing, and the possibilities that lay ahead. He learned that plastic, once processed, is as strong as wood<\/strong>, yet impervious<\/strong> to moisture, water, fire and the elements. It lasts up to 50 years<\/strong>, and can be repaired again and again. Fermin returned with a wealth of new knowledge, and saw the potential of going into business for himself.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”38048″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1697542693015{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}” el_class=”mt2″]In 2013, Fermin founded his company Capobianco Soluciones Ecol\u00f3gicas in his hometown. Initially, he specialized in the manufacture of waste garbage<\/strong> cans and sorting containers<\/strong>, which quickly became popular with schools, hotels and businesses throughout the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

Later, the entrepreneur acquired various machines that enabled him to create street furniture such as public benches<\/strong>, school desks and any other object that could be useful in everyday life.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”37513″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1697543177023{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}” el_class=”mt2″]<\/p>\n

A project that helps local communities<\/h2>\n

Capobianco was one of the first companies of its kind in the Caribbean, and continues to grow as a leader in plastic processing<\/strong>.
