Dado el alto riesgo de pirater\u00eda en el Golfo de Guinea, y por razones de seguridad de la tripulaci\u00f3n, viajamos sin barco. Parte del equipo se desplaz\u00f3 al lugar para participar en una serie de actos clave, entre ellos la inauguraci\u00f3n de la primera <a href=\"\/es\/soluciones\/local-factories\/\">microf\u00e1brica de reciclaje<\/a> desarrollada por Plastic Odyssey y una sesi\u00f3n de formaci\u00f3n del OffBoard Laoboratory a la que asisti\u00f3 un gran n\u00famero de participantes.<\/p>\n<p>El reciclaje de residuos en Guinea sigue siendo una pr\u00e1ctica limitada debido a la <strong>falta de infraestructuras adecuadas y de concienciaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica<\/strong>. La mayor\u00eda de los residuos siguen inciner\u00e1ndose y verti\u00e9ndose en vertederos a cielo abierto, con consecuencias nefastas para el medio ambiente y la salud p\u00fablica. Todo el equipo vio materializarse el fruto de varios a\u00f1os de trabajo y pudo apreciar el impacto social de esta primera microf\u00e1brica de reciclaje de residuos pl\u00e1sticos. Esta escala marca el inicio de una larga aventura para BGS Recyplast y Plastic Odyssey.<\/p>\n<p>En el lado empresarial, vimos mucha motivaci\u00f3n y determinaci\u00f3n. Los implicados en el desarrollo sostenible de Guinea est\u00e1n motivados y desarrollan cada vez m\u00e1s cursos de formaci\u00f3n, herramientas y apoyo para concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n y desarrollar las infraestructuras necesarias para reciclar los residuos.<\/p>\n<p>Seguiremos de cerca a los diversos empresarios que hemos conocido a lo largo de los 12 d\u00edas para ayudarles a
