Join the adventure with your students
The Plastic Odyssey is a vessel that navigates around the world to fight plastic pollution in the ocean. Onboard are twenty explorers who have the mission to find solutions to stop plastic pollution in the sea.
Meet us on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at 3pm, French time
After a meeting in Morocco in January, followed by one in Senegal in March, the Plastic Odyssey expedition team invites students to a live broadcast on Tuesday, April 11 from 3pm to 4pm, directly from Cape Verde, where the boat is anchored for 15 days.
For one hour, Elodie, an explorer on the Plastic Odyssey, will share her story of how she rescued a turtle trapped in plastic in the middle of the sea between Senegal and Cape Verde. Elodie is a specialist in animal protection. She will also share the preparation for the Santa Luzia mission that will start the next day on the boat. She will then answer all questions live.
The classes could extend this experience by following the boat throughout the school year, and by taking part in new exchanges with the crew during future stopovers.
