Beeswax wrapping paper
In Costa Rica, as in many countries around the world, beeswax wrappers are made to replace disposable cellophane. Cotton and hemp fabrics are coated with beeswax to create a durable product used to preserve food. Its lifespan is approximately one year, but it can be restored by adding wax.
